I moved to Witney in 2006 and have made it my home. I am married to Tom and have two small children, Peter and Hannah. We also have a pet cat called Rufus and a rabbit called Claude.
I have spent the majority of my working life as a scientist, mainly in electrochemistry, plasma physics and a bit of biology for good measure. My work has always been for medical companies or on medical products as my aim has always been to help others.
I am in the early stages of exploring vocation within the Church of England. I regularly attend morning prayer and I can’t recommend a better start to the day! As a part time pastoral assistant, I hope to focus my ministry on the Acorns parent/toddler group and also enabling those who cannot easily attend a Eucharistic service to receive Holy Communion.
My most favourite pastime is being with family and friends. My other interests include walking, running, fencing (sabre) and astronomy. I also enjoy reading, music, film and socialising.
