I’m Jeremy, and I’ve been the Witney Parish Warden and Treasurer since April 2018. I really enjoy being part of this busy Benefice; you’ll see me at our Sunday services, often at Morning and Evening Prayer and at our various Festivals and events throughout the year. These are always great fun (if sometimes completely exhausting) and its wonderful to welcome so many people into our churches as a result. I am Chair of Governors of the Batt Primary School and St Mary’s Infants, two Church of England Schools within the Parish, both under the leadership of an Executive Head Teacher. This role and my work for the Parish give me a strong sense of involvement with my local community, which is extremely satisfying. In a previous life, I was a partner in a management consultancy, specialising in Business Strategy, Organisational Change and Change Management Implementation and have worked at board level with many large companies and government organisations. I love the arts, skiing, reading, cars, motor sport, keeping fit (or trying to)… oh, and eating and drinking fine wines! I live in central Witney, having moved here from London a few years back, and so often succumb to the temptations of the gastropubs in Corn St. So much for keeping fit.
